Qualifications:
Not less than a high school education or equivalent.
College degree preferred.
At least one year of experience in a similar role.
Three or more years preferred.
Must possess a knowledge of office equipment, bookkeeping and computer skills that is sufficient to perform assigned duties.
Meets necessary health and physical requirements and complete finger printing and a background check with no disqualifying incidents.
Job
Responsibilities:
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Maintains all accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balances all accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintains general ledger by transferring all account summaries.
Balances general ledger.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written communication).
Other duties as assigned Job Goal:
To perform as efficiently as possible the fiscal tasks (both written and implied) necessary for the successful operation of the principal's office/school.

Responsibilities:
Maintains a respectful environment for students, staff, and administrators.
Keeps accurate records of all money flowing in and out of the school.
Maintains reports, records, communications, inventories and is able to communicate the same to school administrators and the central office staff.
Follows financial procedures in accordance with Federal, state, and local guidelines.
Maintains confidentiality on all personnel, student, and fiscal matters.
Works cooperatively with staff, students, and visitors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 20 lbs.
