Position
Summary:
Responsible for maintaining the maintenance CMMS system to include data entry, preventive maintenance tasks, maintenance work orders, new equipment, spare parts, reports etc.
Associate must be knowledgeable in typical maintenance tasks and part identification.
Responsibilities:
KEY TASKS:
Maintain a safe and clean working environment including safe work practices and work order organization.
Maintain the CMMS, including the addition of all new equipment, spare parts, vendors etc.
Maintain and add preventive maintenance tasks for all equipment in the facility.
Generate, print, and distribute PM work orders.
Utilize Weblink to manage the work order process and assist the maintenance supervisor with work order assignment.
Coordinate parts procurement for specific work orders and tasks.
Manage maintenance inventory items in the CMMS.
Coordinate the process of ordering repair parts and adding critical spare parts to stock.
Help coordinate the closing of all work orders to include the proper assignment of down time hours.
Work closely with the PM and Maintenance teams to identify shortfalls in stock to reduce the amount of emergency (UPS Red) orders.
Attach equipment documentation in the CMMS for future reference.
Utilize the CMMS to generate reports as needed.
Coordinate with Engineering to add appropriate spare parts to inventory when new equipment is ordered.
Comply with all environmental policies and procedures including MSDS and proper chemical storage.
Participation in various plant improvement programs, including but not limited to:
6s Workshops PM Workshops Kaizen Shingijutsu Health and Safety Events
Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ability to interact with various departments on numerous coexisting projects.
Must be self-motivated and perform well under stressful conditions.
Must possess interpersonal skills allowing for interaction with management and shop-floor employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of three years experience utilizing a CMMS to manage maintenance related work flow.
Prior experience procuring and expediting critical spare parts.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to utilize micrometers, calipers, scales, volt/amp meters and other measuring devices.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
